Strengths: Mahn has strong legs for lifting. He is able to move around a lot of weight thanks to his legs. In both his humanoid and feral form, Mahn is known for moving around supplies for his clan. In his feral form though, he has extra help with his thick skull. Mahn grew up running into trees and rocks so he can pack a good headbutt now because he doesn’t feel much pain from the impact anymore. Finally, Mahn is surprisingly quiet on his feet. When he wasn’t running into trees, he was stealing fruit from his neighbors’ backyard. He became really good at sneaking around because he wasn’t good at running away and hate getting in trouble.

Weaknesses: With using his headbutts as his main attack or self defense, Mahn has lost a few teeth over the years, mainly one of his front tusks. He does not have that strong of a bite. He’s afraid of breaking off teeth that way when that’s not the problem. In addition, slamming his head into things, Mahn isn’t exactly the smartest. He can be strategic at times, but often ends up speaking nonsense when under pressure. While he has strong legs, Mahn doesn’t have the endurance for running. He can’t run fast for too long, but he can keep a decent job for a while.

Personality:

Social: Though he can seem standoffish, Mahn is very social and loves talking with people.

Protective: When he becomes close to someone, Mahn will protect them with his mighty headbutts

Early-Bird: Mahn works best in the early mornings and can sometimes be found out gathering food before the sun is even up over the horizon.

Humorous: This boar loves himself a good joke daily, even hourly. Though, most of his jokes end up being rather cheesy.

Loyal: Once Mahn has taken you on as a friend, he will be there for you anytime you need.

Boisterous: Mahn can be childly and loud at times to the point where it gets annoying to some.

Cowardly: At times, Mahn will seem to be ready to take charge of the clan if need be, but when it comes down to it, Mahn backs out of the conversation.

Moody: Though most of the time his is quite social, if Mahn gets himself in a bad mood, he will not talk and will get snippy with people.

Pugnacious: When it comes to certain topics like his opinion on humans and strategic plans, Mahn will get really scrappy and fight over his opinions if he’s in a mood.

Superstitious: Mahn will not joke about the old tales within the clan and will shy away from any jokes involving the tales. He gets very spooked when it comes to those old tales and curse and will most likely excuse himself from the situation.

Growing up in his family, Mahn was the second eldest and often had to go out early in the morning to get food with his brother and father. He grew up learning how to hunt and be a productive member. He learned how to sneak around and how to joke from his greatest teacher, his older brother. But being the younger brother, Mahn also got the worst of his older brother’s picking. He learned how to fight from him. The worst part in Mahn’s mind was when his brother would scare Mahn with tales of little boars who went into sacred places and never came back. With being the little brother too, he was never looked to when hunting for strategy. He never really had the right amount of attention he needed but he’s wanting to give people his attention now with making friends and a family of his own.

History: Mahendran was second born to Rajendra and Yamuna, into their soon to be huge family. He was also the second son born to common family. Rajendra had been a warrior for the clan before Mahn was born but he then settled down with his family. This allowed Mahn to have a good relationship with is father and older brother, Narinder. Plus, being one of two boys allowed Mahn to get a lot of his father’s attention. Mahn and Narinder grew up getting up before dawn to hunt for food for the family. Rajendra taught this sons everything he knew about being a warrior. He wanted them to grow up and be proud warriors like him.

Mahn eagerly learned anything his father had to teach him. He also really looked up to Narinder. He was the bigger brother the knew everything, in Mahn’s mind. He received his nickname of Mahn from Narinder. He also received his fears from his older brother. Whenever the two were alone in the forest in the mornings, hiding in the brush as their father went off in hunt of berries, Narinder would tell Mahn stories. He told old tales and curses of the forest around them. Mahn would always stare wide eyed at his brother’s stories, scared out of his mind.

He would never admit that he was scared. Mahn would fight with Narinder after Narinder learned of his brother’s fears. The two constantly fought as they grew up. They fought up until Narinder went off into serious warrior training. He wasn’t part of the family anymore and Mahn took up his place in the family, taking over the hunting for his family. The forest still scared him, even as he grew into an adult. He never thought about following in his father and brother’s footsteps of becoming a warrior until his brother didn’t return from his first battle. Word go back to the family and it sent Mahn into depression. Narinder had been his only brother and he was gone from the world.

Mahn decided from that point on, he wasn’t going to be a coward anymore. He went to his father and learned everything that Narinder had learned. He was determined to be just as great as his brother, and survive at it too. This was a challenge Narinder had set up for him, in Mahn’s mind, and Mahn was going to beat his brother. With the same knowledge as his brother, he went into the same warrior training.

After being there for just a few days, Mahn felt out of place. He had always been heavier than his brother. He hadn’t been able to keep up with Narinder when they were playing as kids and he wasn’t able to keep up with the training he got himself into. Everyone there was much too serious for Mahn. No one understood his jokes or why he was even there. After just a few days of his training, Mahn left.

Upon making it home, Mahn found his family like he left it. His aging father was in bedridden and his sisters were working on feeding the family. Mahn planned to take back his position as the supplier for his family since he didn’t make it as a warrior. Rajendra wouldn’t stand for that. One day, Rajendra called Mahn to his presence and explained how he wanted Mahn gone.  Mahn was just a good warrior as Narinder had been and he was meant to protect the clan. Protecting and supplying for the clan would supply for his family. Any excuses Mahn came up for not being a warrior, his father had two reasons why he should be a warrior.

Since then, Mahn has been a warrior for the boar clan. He may look stoic and stubborn, but he loves to make people laugh, even right before a battle. Over the years, Mahn has learned battle plans and has it own opinions on plans his commanders set up. He doesn’t speak up too much, even when asked. He’ll keep to himself and follow the orders he’s given.
